I looked for a repair shop that would
clean and/or repair my reels in a timely fashion. I have waited up to four
months to get a reel. Even bought new ones to replace ones in being worked
on. I started working on my own reels and, then, friends asked me to clean
and repair theirs. At this point, I decided to look into someone who could
provide me with more training. After three or four days of repair work
with Connie and Killer (Lake Fork Tackle Repair) I have been working on
Shimano, Daiwa, Quantum, Lew’s and Abu Garcia. We work on
Baitcasters as well as Spinning Reels. Sorry, but we do not clean or
service any Bass Pro Shops reels. Your reels will be disassembled, cleaned using a biodegradable cleaner, reassembled using Super Lube, TG’s Rocket Fuel and Shimano Drag Grease. We can change out bearings using ABEC-7’s for increased performance if you desire. I will treat your reel as if it was my own. Fishing is what helps me keep my sanity and I am sure it is the same for many of you.
If you would to send your reels to us, simply print out the Service Order Form, fill in the required info, enclose your check or money order, and ship your reels to us. We highly recommend you insure your shipment. Be sure to include your phone and email so we can contact you if any parts are needed. If you are shipping via UPS or FedEX, you can ship to the following address. If you are a local customer, you can drop your reels off personally by appointment (please call or email first).
